This is a Leeds, West Yorkshire based parent coaching service, which aims to be tailored to your specific needs.
First consultation is free of charge and is an important opportunity for everyone involved to establish how to move forward in a way that is specific to you, your child's and your family's needs. It will most likely take place in your home and be approximately two hours long. It is important that you feel comfortable and in control but also that you understand that work will be required on your part and that you are likely to find it hard and sometimes difficult short-term, but well worth it long-term.
All coaching is charged at an hourly rate and travel expenses are charged at 45p per mile each way. Long journeys and travel during rush hour may incur additional charges.
Emails and telephone conversations are not generally charged, unless they fall outside what can be reasonably expected. Answers to specific questions in relation to newly or currently coached areas, are all part of the service.
£22 per hour paid in full at time of coaching session, or
£18 per hour when 8 coaching hours are paid upfront at £144.

Terms and Conditions
Coaching refers to the coach supporting the client in learning and implementing effective scientifically supported contextual behavioural strategies to achieve specific goals relevant to the client’s specific needs and situation. Coaching in this context is not psychological or behavioural therapy and should not be regarded as such.
The role of the coach is to provide training, teaching, demonstration and instruction in positive learning and behaviour change strategies, along with advice, guidance and mentoring on how to implement these and to tailor this, as best as possible, to the client’s situation, needs and wants.
The role of the client is to engage with the process, take instruction, be prepared to learn by doing, take responsibility for progress and acknowledge that without commitment to the process, coaching is unlikely to have an impact.
Training, teaching, demonstration and instruction refer to educating and giving lessons in behavioural strategies, explaining why they work and showing how to use them effectively, through experiential interaction with the client, including, where appropriate, the child and any other family members or individuals involved.
Advice, guidance and mentoring refer to recommendations and suggestions about action and direction, help, supervision and counsel from an experienced person throughout.
Fees and payment methods will be agreed before coaching commences, and all outstanding fees will be paid in advance, or at the time of coaching. Travel is charged at the standard rate of 45p/mile. Longer journeys and travel during rush hour may be subject to additional charges.
Cancellation: If a session is cancelled it will be rescheduled at an agreed time. At least 24hours notice of cancellation or change of arrangements must be given on either side.
Engagement of the Coach: The coach will arrange to provide coaching to the client at the agreed times and places in accordance with the client’s requirements. All interactions will be conducted in a respectful, non-discriminatory and non-judgemental manner.
Preparation for Sessions: The client is expected to carry out any agreed actions or tasks by way of preparation for the sessions, and acknowledge that the client is responsible for progress in the coaching process.
Coaching Methods: The client acknowledges that the coaching sessions may be personally and emotionally challenging, and on occasions the client, the child or other individuals involved may feel frustration, annoyance or distress. The client will take all steps, as far as possible, to ensure that scheduling of session times coincide with appropriate mental, emotional and physical condition to proceed with the session.
Responsibility for achievement of goals: The Autism Train make no representation or warranty that any of the coaching methods or sessions will work for the client’s personal circumstance. If the Autism Train make a professional judgement that coaching is not a suitable intervention for the client’s situation, the client will be advised of that fact. The client will not hold the Autism Train responsible in any circumstance for the failure (in whole or part) to achieve any goals.
Confidential Material: The Autism Train will handle and store all personal details and information relating to the client securely, and in compliance with data protection laws. The content of the coaching sessions will be confidential and any personal information will not be disclosed to a third party without your consent.
Termination of Agreement: Either party can, with good reason and prior notice terminate the coaching agreement. Fees paid for sessions which have taken place will not be refunded, and payment will be due for any sessions which have taken place but not been paid for before the termination of the agreement.
Limitation of Liability: We, ParentCoaching shall not be liable to you, the client (excluding for personal injury or death, fraud, or wilful default) for any loss or damage (including without limitation, any direct, indirect, punitive or consequential loss or damages, or any loss of income, profits, goodwill, data, contracts, and whether in tort (including without limitation negligence, contract or otherwise) that may result in connection with the Services. Our liability to you shall at all times be limited to the amount paid, if any, by you for the Service
Entire Agreement: These Terms together with booking confirmation constitute the entire agreement between the parties and shall exclude of any other agreement, or understanding of any kind, whether oral or written, relating to the Services.
